Monday, November 16th

Sorry it took so long to post - the internet has been down.

We've had some good visits. Wow 2 hours, twice a day can be a hard adjustment for both parties. We're doing our best to come up with simple ways to play and bond while not overstimulating him. He is used to a very strick routine and people speaking Kazakh so we are strange to him. (I know many of you will agree with that statement!)
He is so cute - smiling all the time. Today when we got there the caregiver was holding his hands helping him walk to the door - when he saw me he started grinning and giggling! That was awesome!

Finally what you've been patiently waiting for!

  17. Yeah! What a cutie, thanks for posting the picture! Re: the 2, 2-hour visitations - yes they can drag by (at least I thought so!!) Bubbles were a favorite with Lera, and a balloon - blowing it then letting her release the air. Are you at Botakoz? Happy to see you are well underway with your visitation days...at long last. - Alison in Cincinnati
