Monday, November 30th

So we've basically been here for the entire month of November. Hard to believe we come so far. Things have been fine. We visit with Cody twice a day. He has learned some new things and it is so amazing and fun to watch. Whenever he hears the phone ring (which is often) he holds anything to his ear and starts "talking". He has started making new sounds and loves to imitate us and he still does his famous clapping. He is walking much better although we are still struggling to find the perfect shoes for him. We tried getting what we thought would be his size but will all the socks they are too small so we tried a bigger pair but sometimes they fall off and they pretty much look like clown shoes. I think we'll just have to wait until we get home.



We did some paperwork and went shopping on Saturday. It was fun. I finally got my fur hat! It is SO soft and warm. Steve's new hat is more French like and not so warm - here he is in front of the Baby House.



We also had Cody's passport picture printed, which was a relief. It was so hard to get the perfect photo. It must be close up with a white background, eyes open, not smiling. We must have taken 50 pictures of his face - boy we captured a lot of emotions - not to mention we sweated off a few pounds! Anyway, one more small step completed.

I feel that the chances of us getting pre-court and court in this week are slim. We seem to get mixed signals on the situation. Our flights home are for Saturday and we would so love to be able to make that.
